HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ Â
For the third straight match, Saint Francis clinched the critical doubles point, this time sweeping the Dukes in all three matches. On court one, the duo of freshman Helena Lynn and junior Reagen Mangan won their third consecutive match, beating their opponents, 7-5. On court two, Dowuona and freshman Gabriela Almanza engaged in a marathon match, pushing their opponents to a tiebreaker before winning, 7-6 (8-6). The nationally ranked team of Emma Marais and Sophia Cunningham finished off doubles action on court three, easily handling their opponents with a final score of 6-2.
In the singles portion of the scorebook, the Red Flash recorded only one win, thanks to Dowuona, the program leader in all-time wins, who earned a 6-3,6-3 victory.

The Saint Francis women's team is back in action Friday, Feb.13, as the Red Flash take on the Bucknell Bison at the Central PA Tennis Center in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, at 6 p.m.
