Saint Francis men's tennis fell short in a 4-3 defeat against LIU on Saturday afternoon at the Ebensburg Tennis Center in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania.
HOW IT HAPPENED
In the matchup, Saint Francis was unable to claim the doubles point; however, the duo of sophomore Noah Potts and freshman Mario Beckles secured a 6-3 victory.
In singles play, the Red Flash won three of six matches. The first victory came from sophomore Kevin Titus Suresh, who delivered an impressive performance against his LIU counterpart, earning his 19th win of the year with a 6-3, 6-4 decision. Freshman Mario Beckles engaged in a marathon match, finishing with a score of 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-5). The final victory occurred on court three, where freshman Deven Pandey recorded his fifth win of the year after his opponent retired in the second set.

The Red Flash men's tennis team is back in action tomorrow as they travel to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, to take on the Bison of Bucknell at 1 pm
