WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW 
Saint Francis women's tennis dominated on the final day of the spring break slate, defeating Spring Arbor and Tiffin University with final scores of 5-2 and 7-0, respectively, on Friday afternoon in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

In both matches, Saint Francis claimed the critical doubles point. In the first match, the teams of freshman Helena Lynn and senior Kelly Dowuona, and Gretta Rhodes and Morgan Tuffs each won their matches 6-3, while the duo of junior Reagen Mangan and freshman Emma Marais secured a 6-2 victory. The second match followed a similar pattern. On court one, sophomore Dasha Chichkina Lynn earned a 6-2 win, while the pair of Marais and Dowuona recorded a shutout victory of 6-0.

In singles action, the Red Flash claimed victory in nine of their 12 individual matches. Notable victories included Lynn, the reigning NEC Rookie of the Week, extending her singles winning streak to five matches with scores of 7-5, 7-5, and 6-2, 6-2. Sophomore Sophia Cunningham also achieved her first solo victory of the spring slate with a final tally of 6-4, 6-0, improving her season record to 7-4.

Saint Francis women's tennis is back in action next Sunday, March 15, as they return home to take on NEC foe Binghamton at the Gorilla House Gym in Altoona, Pa., at noon.
