Saint Francis men's tennis cruised to a 5-2 win against Spring Arbor on the final day of the spring break slate, Friday afternoon in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
On the doubles courts, the only victory came on Court One, as the sophomore duo of Blake Lorenzo and Beau Welker recorded a 6-4 decision. However, the pivotal stretch occurred in singles action, where the Red Flash claimed victory in five of their six matches. NEC Player of the Week Kevin Titus Suresh won his team's leading 17th match of the year with a confident score of 6-4, 6-3. On Court 2, Lorenzo secured his victory of the day with a final score of 6-0, 6-1. Jumping over to courts three and four, where freshman Jonah Ng and NEC Rookie of the Week Mario Beckles also secured victories, with final scores of 6-3, 6-4, and 6-1, 7-5, respectively. The final victory of the match came on Court 6, where underclassman Deven Pandey won his second straight match, 6-4, 6-0.

Saint Francis women's tennis is back in action Sunday, March 15, as they return home to take on NEC foe Binghamton at the Gorilla House Gym in Altoona, Pa., at noon.
