The Saint Francis men's tennis team was unable to defeat the Mountaineers this afternoon, falling 6-1 at the Mount St. Mary's Tennis Courts in Emmitsburg, Md.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Despite the loss, the Red Flash secured one victory in singles play, thanks to sophomore Beau Welker. He earned his 11th win of the year after outlasting his Mount St. Mary's opponent in a marathon match, 5-7, 6-3, 10-5
NEXT TIME OUT
Saint Francis men's tennis returns to action next Saturday, April 11, wrapping up NEC play against Stonehill at the Charles Watt Tennis Courts in North Easton, Mass., with first serve scheduled for 2 p.m.
