Track & Field Heads To Lewisburg For Two Day Meet

BISON OUTDOOR CLASSIC HISTORY
In 2024-25, Saint Francis competed in the Bison Outdoor Classic and came out with six top-8 performances at the meet. Of the returners, these were the finishes. 

Morgan McNaughton finished second in the unseeded women's 1500-meter run with a personal-best time of 4:40.31. Olivia Renk took eighth in the women's 200-meter dash by clocking in a time of 24.64. Anna Quackenbush recorded a personal-best time in the women's 10,000-meter run, finishing with a time of 37:06.66. That time was second-best in the NEC

Dylan Andrews took fourth in the men's pole vault with a personal-best clearance of 4.56m, which was the second-best mark across the Northeast Conference (NEC). Tyler Craft had the third-best finish on the men's team, placing fifth in the men's triple jump with a mark of 14.17m. Clark Gulycz rounded out the top-8 performances for the men with a seventh place finish in the men's shot put. The freshman finished with a toss of 16.67m, the best mark across the NEC in the event in 2025.

LAST EVENT
The Saint Francis track & field teams competed in the York Twilight Invitational. Saint Francis claimed 43 top 10 finishes. Seven athletes finished in first place and the Red Flash had 20 top 3 performances.

The women's team accumulated 23 top 10 finishes after Wednesday nights meet.
Freshman Alayna Hulslander and Lorah Thomas both placed high in discus. Hulslander had a personal best with 33.77m to take sixth and Thomas had a season best of 33.28m to finish seventh place. Huslander placed fourth in hammer throw with another personal best of 40.34m. Thomas took eighth in shot put with a launch of 10.39m. 

Two Red Flash finished top 10 in long jump. Taylor Foster took third place after a 5.04m leap and Paige Drake followed with 4.86m to take ninth. Foster also finished third in triple jump after a 10.78m performance. Delaney Hall took 10th place after reaching 9.74m. Claire HenryKarsyn Ford, and Aubrie Wells all hit season best that placed them high in the meet. Henry took third with a 3.30m, Ford placed fourth with the same (3.30m), and Wells was right behind them in sixth with 3.15m. 

Olivia Renk took first place in the 100m after a 12.17 performance. Renk also took first place in the 200m with a season best of 25.13. Gabriella del Pielago was right behind her in fifth place with a time of 26.12. Both del Pielago and Sarah Colman finished top 8 in the 400m. Del Pielago had a season best of 58.32 to take second place. Colman was behind her in eighth place with a time of 1:00.37. Sophomore Mackenzie Hirt ran a 2:20.14 in the 800m to put herself in fourth place. Freshman Adraya Baxter finished in fourth with a personal best in the 400m hurdles with 1:07.78. 

Four Red Flash placed top 5 in the women's 1500m. Nina Connors had a personal best of 4:35.17 to take first. Morgan McNaughton and Anna Quackenbush followed right behind in second (4:37.52) and third place (4:37.90) with personal bests as well. Rounding out the 1500m was Rosie Gaydos with a personal best of 4:42.67 to take fifth. The 4x800m relay team placed first with a time of 9:57.52. This team consisted of Colman, Connors, Hirt, and Jordan Dean

The men's team registered 20 top 10 performances on Wednesday. Joseph Sevison started the meet off with a personal best in discus. He threw 48.74m to finish in first. Cam Wagner was not too far behind him with a 44.96m throw to take third. Sevison collected another personal best of 51.97m in hammer throw to place second. Sophomore Owen Degnan reached 50.78m to finish fourth. Ayden Martinage was the lone Red Flash in men's high jump. However, he cleared 1.90m to give himself third place. 

Saint Francis had four Red Flash that placed top 5 for long jump. Tyler Craft reached 6.82m to take first place, Nehemyah Williams (second place) had a season best of 6.66m, Jayden Foster (third place) finished with 6.61m, and Garrett Damewood (fifth place) leaped 6.40m. Dylan Andrews once again took first place after a 4.40m clearance in pole vault. Freshman Austin Gray took 10th place after throwing javelin 47.58m. 

First year Brayden Ross finished in second place after a personal best in shot put. He reached 14.93m, which was just ahead of Wyatt Jumper's 14.51m. This was also a personal best for the sophomore, landing him in seventh. Tyler Persing took fifth place after a personal best time of 49.84m in the 400m. Freshman Tytan Hinkson had a time of 50.45 to place eighth. Collin Dreese registered a personal best of 1:55.91 to take fifth place in the 800m. Foster had a seasonal best in the 200m with 22.69 to take 10th place. 

Aaron Tressler ran a 15:14.05 to put him in second place after a personal best in the 5000m. Both Saint Francis's 4x400m relay teams placed seventh and eighth. Team A, which consisted of Austin HladekJames ParmeleeHolden Schreier, and Carson Uber, finished with a time of 3:32.89. Team B, Micah Brydon, Dreese, Cael Konek, and Nicholas Kupniewski had a time of 3:37.49.
