Zetrouer becomes the tenth Saint Francis freshman to finish in the Top-10 in the NEC Championships. She joins an impressive list that includes Michelle Raymond (first, 1999), Valerie Blinn (third, 1999), Kacie Daniels (fifth, 2001), Katie Thorne (ninth, 2001), Megan Shaeffer (second, 2004), Samantha Miosh (seventh, 2005), Ann Colligan (second 2011), Taylar Jamamillo (10th, 2016), and Bryn Sorge (eighth, 2025). While it is the 47th time a player has finished in the Top 10 for the Red Flash, Zetrouer is the 21st different player to accomplish the feat.
Zetrouer finished in seventh place following the final day of the championships. For her final third round, the freshman shot an 80, to then tally on a final score of 232. Over the course of the three rounds, she recorded a 75, 77, and 80. Zetrouer tallied nine pars and one birdie on the day.
Sorge finished in 21st following the three day championship. The sophormore made a 12 place jump on day two to put her in the top-20 on the individual leaderboard. During the final round, Sorge marked her scorecard with an 82, after shooting a 43 (+8) on the front nine and a 39 (+3) on the back nine. She tallied 10 pars during her final round.
Also competing for the Red Flash was Camille Gagnon (45th, 259), Meghan Zambruno (58th, 165), McKenzie Gustas (61st, 170), and Abigail McCorkell (63rd, 175)
Saint Francis finished the three-day event with a team score of 980.
The teams that finished Top-5 of the NECs include Howard (917), FDU (919), North Carolina Central (957), Chicago State and UMES tied for fourth (971).
