JUNIOR (2010): Appeared in 23 matches for the Red Flash, playing a total of 72 sets… posted four matches of double-digit digs…had a season-high 19 digs against NJIT, the highest single-match total for a three-set match in Division I-II in 2010 (1/22)… recorded 13 digs at Rutgers-Newark for a two-match average of 4.00 digs per set at the Golden Dome Tournament (1/23)… had three assists and 14 digs against IPFW (2/19).

SOPHOMORE (2009): Played in 20 matches in 2009, recording one kill, 12 assists, and 35 digs… notched six digs twice in 2009, against NYU (1/16/09) and Ohio State (1/25/09).

FRESHMAN (2008): played in 12 matches as a freshman, tallying 2 digs… had one dig in matches against George Mason (3/20/08) and Ohio State (3/29/08).

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Fox Chapel H.S., where he led the Foxes to three section titles, a district title and a state runner-up finish… was a two-time first team all-section and second team all-district honoree… concluded scholastic career as a Finest Four selection, and was named to the Fox Chapel All-Tournament Team… was a member of the Fox Chapel honor roll.

PERSONAL: SFU Academic Honor Roll student Fall 2007 and 2008... Marketing major…son of Debra and David Katich.
