Before SFU - Karwatka competed in lacrosse and soccer for Patterson Mill High School... During her sophomore campaign, Karwatka was selected for the Baltimore Metro Lacrosse Team and played in the Women's National Tournament... In her junior season, she was named Second Team All-County and Second Team All-Conference... She earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-County during her senior season... She is second in school history for total points (121 goals and 116 assists).
