BEFORE SFU: Swam and played water polo for Hazelton Area High School. As a freshman swimmer for Saint Francis, Sanko finished 17th in the 1,650-yard Freestyle at the NEC Championships, with a time of 19:09.86… Also competed in the 50-yard Freestyle, 100-yard Freestyle, 200-yard Freestyle, 500-yard Freestyle and 1,000-yard Freestyle events this year.
