Biography

SOPHOMORE (2018) – Recorded two assisted tackles against Lehigh (9/1)...Collected three tackles against Delaware State (9/8)...Made four tackles against WV Wesleyan (9/29)...One yard on one carry for a crucial first down against Wagner (10/13)...Made one tackle against Duquesne (10/20)...Posted four tackles including a tackle for loss against CCSU (11/10)...Collected five tackles including a tackle for loss and forced a fumble against Sacred Heart (11/17).

FRESHMAN (2017) – Redshirted. Did not see any action this season.

BEFORE SFU - Mareko continues the Hawaii to Loretto pipeline. He played at Kapolei High School for Head Coach Darren Hernandez… Led the Hurricanes to a 10-3 record this season as well as a conference title and an appearance in the state semifinals… Earned an invitation to the 2017 Polynesian Bowl… Named All-Hawaii by USA Today… In 2016, recorded 62 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, three interceptions, five pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
