JUNIOR (2009): Played in 21 matches in 2009, recording 14 assists and 75 digs… his 75 digs ranked sixth on the team in 2009, but was fourth on the team with an average of 1.56 digs per set.

SOPHOMORE (2008): Played in 26 matches in 2008, totaling career highs with 153 digs and 21 assists… was third on team with 153 digs, but ranked first with an average of 1.80 digs per set… recorded double-digit digs in seven matches, including a career-high 20 against Juniata (2/13/08)… had a career-high four assists to go with 12 digs vs. Ohio State (3/29/08).

FRESHMAN (2007): Saw action in 14 matches as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played previously at Anne-Frank H.S., where he helped lead his team to the German Championships in 2001 and 2003… was an all-district honoree… a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Served as a Student-Athlete Mentor in 2007-08…SFU Dean’s List Fall 2006… SFU Athletic Department Honor Roll Fall 2006… Sociology/Criminal Justice Major…son of Cathrin Schulze-Beneche and Jeorg Schulze.
