SENIOR (2018) – Named to Phil Steele's Preseason NEC Second Team...Had three tackles including two for loss against Lehigh (9/1)...Recorded five tackles including a tackle for a loss against Delaware State (9/8)...Made three tackles including one and a half tackles for loss against Richmond (9/13)...Posted one tackle against Albany (9/22)...Recorded five tackles including two tackles for loss and a sack against WV Wesleyan (9/29)...Recorded seven tackles and forced a fumble against Wagner (10/13)...Made six tackles against Duquesne (10/20)...Posted two tackles and half a sack against Robert Morris (10/27)...Made two tackles against CCSU (11/10)...Collected nine tackles including half a tackle for loss against Sacred Heart (11/17).

SOPHOMORE (2016) – Appeared in 11 games this year, making four starts, at Defensive End… Recorded 22 tackles, with seven solo, 4.5 for loss and two sacks… Had a tackle for loss at Towson… Tied a career-high with five tackles, including two solo and a sack, in the win at Columbia… Had two tackles each against Albany and Malone, with a tackle for loss and half a sack at Albany and half a sack against Malone… Made three stops, with half a tackle for loss, against Duquesne… Recorded two tackles, with half a tackle for loss, against CCSU… Had three tackles at Wagner and four stops at Villanova.
FRESHMAN (2015) – A three-time NEC Rookie of the Week, Gartner played in all 11 games... Totaled 25 tackles, including 15 solo, 5.5 for loss and four sacks. Also forced a fumble and broke up a pass... Best performance of the year came at East Tennessee State, where he recorded 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble, which helped him earn NEC Rookie of the Week honors... Gartner recorded five tackles each vs. Youngstown State and Robert Morris... Picked up NEC Rookie of the Week accolades for his efforts vs. RMU... Had two tackles, including a sack, in the win at Central Connecticut State... Also had two tackles, with a sack, against Wagner to again earn NEC Rookie of the Week... BEFORE SFU- Played three years at Paramus Catholic High School for head coach Chris Partridge… Helped the Paladins to a 10-2 mark his senior year… Made 58 tackles, including nine for loss and 4.5 sacks in 2014.
