SENIOR (2018) – NAMED ALL-NEC SECOND TEAM...EARNED NATIONAL FOOTBALL FOUNDATION ACADEMIC AWARD...EARNED COSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT..Named to Phil Steele's Preseason Second Team All-NEC...Made every start at center and tackle, respectively and were part of a unit that allowed just 19 sacks on the season.

JUNIOR (2017) – Second Team All-NEC... Started all 11 games at Center… Helped SFU to average 21.9 points, 287.1 total yards, 185.6 passing and 101.5 rushing yards per game... Helped Jymere Jordan-Toney to rush for 100 yards in two games and Bear Fenimore to throw for over 280 yards in three games.

SOPHOMORE (2016) – Played in all 12 games, starting 10 at Guard… Helped the SFU offense to average 26.9 points and 345.1 total yards per game.  SFU also averaged 218.9 passing yards and 126.2 rushing yards per contest.

FRESHMAN (2015) –  Played in 11 games, including a start at guard against Youngstown State...  Helped the Red Flash to rank second in the league in scoring offense (28.2 points) and rushing yards (158.7) per game.  Helped Khairi Dickson to rush for over 1,000 yards and helped protect Zack Drayer to throw for 1,977 yards and 15 touchdowns.

BEFORE SFU - Ames is a three-year varsity Defensive Line starter at Penn Hills High School ... Made Second Team All-Conference his junior year and First Team All-Conference as a guard his senior year ... Was also a Big 33 selection.

PERSONAL - He intends on majoring in Nursing at Saint Francis U.
