Biography

SENIOR (2017) - Started 14 of 16 contests...scored a career-high seven goals and totaled 21 draw controls and 17 ground balls...scored two goals in win at Radford (Feb. 19)...added two goals at Fresno State (Mar. 22)...recorded three ground balls in two different games and three draw controls in four separate games.

JUNIOR (2016) - Played in three games before her season was cut short to an injury.

SOPHOMORE (2015) - After she missed her entire freshman season because of an injury she played every game in her sophomore year, 13 out of the 16 as a starter… Contributed six goals and two assists to the team performance.

FRESHMAN (2014) - Missed the 2014 season with an injury.

BEFORE SFU - Comes to Loretto from Morgantown High School in West Virginia where she played for head coach Suzzie Bane ... A four-time letter winner in lacrosse, Shearer also played volleyball ... The 5-4 attacker was named to the All-State First Team after her junior season where she was the state's leading scorer at 5.38 average per game.

PERSONAL - The daughter of Zippy Shearer and Marianne McLaughlin ... Shearer plans to major in Biology while at Saint Francis U.
