In the first official track and field action of the 2012-13 season at the Bucknell University Bison Opener, Maura Jones grabbed a first place finish in the 500-meter run with a time of 1:17.01. In addition to her individual win, Jones helped SFU capture the women's 400-meter relay with a time of 4:01.11.
