Sophomore defender Alecia McNiff came up big for the Flash in notching her first collegiate goal during Sunday's 2-0 victory at Mount St. Mary's. McNiff headed a Briana Tata corner that deflected downward off the crossbar just to the inside of the goal line, to give SFU the game winning strike. McNiff was also at the center of a Flash defense that helped lead Saint Francis to its sixth shutout of the season. She earned NEC Defender of the Week honors as well for her performance.
