FARMVILLE, Va. (Mar. 30, 2009) – The Saint Francis women's golf team carded a two-round 362-369-731 during 36 holes on Monday to stand in 10th out of 12 teams at the Tina Barrett Invitational, which is being held The Manor Resort Golf Club in Farmville, Va.
Tournament-host Longwood leads the event with a 301-311-612, while Akron is second (326-326-652).
Sophomore Caryn Doege (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) (Monroeville, Pa. / Gateway) paced the Red Flash with a two-round 80-85-165, which is good for a tie for 17th place.
Junior Lisa Kocin (Parma, Ohio/Padua Francisan) (Parma, Ohio / Padua Franciscan) is in 50th with a 94-89-183, freshman Skylar Hay (Easton, Pa./Freedom) (Easton, Pa. / Freedom) is 52nd with 89-96-185, sophomore Kaitlin Hensal (Seville, Ohio/Wadsworth) (Seville, Ohio / Wadsworth) is in 61st with a 99-99-198, and junior Katelyn Waghorn (Basking Ridge, NJ./Ridge) (Basking Ridge, N.J. / Basking Ridge)is in 65th after a 111-99-210.
The third, and final, round will conclude on Tuesday.
