Saint Francis Women’s Golf in Sixth After Day 1 at Mount St. Mary’s

LITTLESTOWN, Pa. – Junior Lisa Kocin (Parma, Ohio/Padua Francisan) (Parma, Ohio / Padua Franciscan) carded an 80-81-161 during the first two rounds of the Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational to help lead the Saint Francis women's golf team into sixth place heading into the final day of action on Tuesday.

 

The Red Flash carded a 328-332-660 during the first two rounds, and sit sixth in a nine-team field.. Towson leads the event with a 300-318-618, while Fairleigh Dickinson is second (308-317-625), Long Island is third (315-319-634), Siena is fourth (321-317-338) and Fairfield is fifth (325-324-649).

 

Kocin leads all Saint Francis golfers in 14th place. Sophomore Caryn Doege (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) (Monroeville, Pa. / Gateway ) and freshman Skylar Hay (Easton, Pa./Freedom) (Easton, Pa. / Freedom) are tied for 21st after both carded an 81-84-165. Sophomore Kaitlin Hensal (Seville, Ohio/Wadsworth) (Seville, Ohio / Wadsworth) is in 28th after a 86-83-169, and sophomore Laura Smith (State Line, Pa./Greencastle Antrim) (State Line, Pa. / Greencastle Antrim) sits in 36th after carding a 90-88-178.
