Loretto, Pa. (Nov. 19, 2009) - The Saint Francis Red Flash will conclude the 2009 season on Saturday when they host the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils at DeGol Field at 12 p.m.
The Blue Devils are 8-2 overall, and their 6-1 record in the Northeast Conference has them tied for first. They have already clinched at least a share of the conference championship, but a Red Flash upset could spoil the party for the Blue Devils. An SFU win would create co-champions in the Northeast Conference, but a Wagner win over Albany would give them the Seahawks the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Blue Devils and the right to play in the Gridiron Classic.
