LORETTO, Pa. (Mar. 11, 2009) – The Saint Francis University men's basketball program will be hosting a youth basketball tournament during the weekend of April 18-19 on the Loretto, Pa. campus.

The double elimination tournament will feature boys' teams in four divisions: third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades.

Red Flash head coach Don Friday announced that proceeds from the event will be donated to the Red Flash Futures fundraising initiative already on-going within the Saint Francis Athletic Department. Red Flash Futures is a campaign aimed at raising money to upgrade facilities in the Maurice Stokes Athletics Center.

Coach Friday views the tournament as an opportunity to connect youth basketball with his Division I basketball program.
