The Red Flash fell to 0-1 on the season, while the Buckeyes start out the 2013 campaign, 1-0.

“It was a disappointing way to start the season, I expected us to play better than we did,” head coach
Mike Rumbaugh said. “Ohio State played more physical than we expected and we didn't rise to the occasion tonight.”
“On a good note, it was nice to see
Logan Patterson (Derry, Pa./Derry Area) have a very solid game,” Rumbaugh continued. “
Adam Roche (Cochranton, Pa./Cochranton) also had a nice offensive game, we needed to get him the ball more.”
Logan Patterson (Derry, Pa./Derry Area) led the way offensively for SFU with 11 kills and a .304 hitting percentage.
Adam Roche (Cochranton, Pa./Cochranton) added six kills.
Mike Krepp registered 25 assists in the match to go along with a team-high six digs.
Saint Francis returns to action Friday (Jan. 11) evening as they take on IPFW at 7 p.m.
