BRONXVILE, N.Y. (Feb. 6, 2013) – The Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) has announced the formation of the “EIVA Rallies” campaign to benefit the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
 
The EIVA recognizes the utmost importance of fully engaging in the fight against cancer. The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center conducts one of the largest programs of clinical research in the world. Clinical research at the center combines the efforts of laboratory and clinical investigators in various disciplines and departments to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

In all EIVA travel partner matches, coaches will don fedoras or other business casual hats to bring awareness this season. The campaign will begin on Friday, February 8th as George Mason will host Princeton and Penn State will host Saint Francis.

“It is great that the EIVA has partnered with the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, more awareness needs to be made for prostate cancer and other common men's health issues,” SFU head coach Mike Rumbaugh said.
