SOMERSET, N.J. (May 14, 2013) –
Ann Colligan (Kittanning, Pa./Kittanning) and
Taylar Jaramillo (Belen, N.M./Belen) of the Saint Francis U women's golf team were tabbed to the All-Northeast Conference first and second teams, the league announced Tuesday.
This marks Colligan's third consecutive season on the All-NEC squad and her first selection to the first team. The junior scored two individual wins this past season at the Cleveland State Invitational and Purple Eagles Invitational. The native of Kittanning, Pa. collected six top-five finishes in 2012-13, including fourth place at the NEC Championship. She posted a 78.2 scoring average and twice was named NEC Golfer of the Week.
Jaramillo displayed a solid rookie campaign for the Red Flash and earned a spot on the All-NEC second team. The freshman posted a scoring average of 81.0 for the season. The New Mexico product finished in the top-15 in the final three tournaments of the year, including a 10th place finish at the NEC Championship.
Saint Francis concluded the 2012-13 campaign with a fifth place finish at the conference tournament at the end of April.
