LORETTO, Pa. – Senior
Elise Löfgren (Molnlycke, Sweden/Hulebacks) finished her home career at Saint Francis in grand fashion as she set the pool record in the 200 yard breaststroke during the Red Flash's 151-106 victory over Youngstown State on Saturday afternoon.

Lofgren, one of eight swimmers in their final home meet, broke her own pool record by one-hundredth of a second with 2:24.50. She joined
Rebecca Peer (Chelsea, Quebec/Philemon Wright),
Libby Francis (Dundee, Scotland/Grove Academy) and
Danyel Johnson (Dansville, N.Y./Dansville) by winning the 200-yard medley relay to open the meet. Lofgren added a second place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing just under a second behind teammate
Catherine Rogers (Nokesville, Va./Seton School) for the victory. Rogers won the event in 1:06.95. Rogers came in second in Lofgren's record-setting 200 race.

Francis added two solo victories to her relay win, taking the 200 butterfly in 2:10.42 and the 100 fly in 59.17.
Kelly Marcotte (Whitney Point, N.Y./Whitney Point) came in third in the 200 (2:18.11), while
Paige McLean (Bolton, Ontario/St. Michael Catholic Secondary) finished third in the 100 (1:01.11). McLean claimed a victory in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:59.59.
Gabrielle Pierre (Valencia, Pa./Mars) came in third in that event in 2:01.14. Pierre also finished third in the 500-yard freestyle, trailing Mary-Margaret Folz's winning time of 5:17.48. Folz also won the 1,000-yard free in 10:52.41, outpacing second place finisher
Katrina Wilhite (Sparks, Nev./Edward C. Reed). Wilhite added a second place finish in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:00.23 and a third in the 200-yard backstroke.

Sara Dieterich (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot) came in behind Wilhite in the 100-yard backstroke in third, and just ahead of her for a second-place spot in the 200 back. Johnson added an individual victory in the 50-yard freestyle in 24.70, ahead of
Mary Wardle (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon Area)'s third place showing in that event.
Jessica Reilly (Pittsburgh, Pa. /Upper St. Clair) has a second place spot in the 100-yard freestyle.
