LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis U freshman running back Marcus Bagley (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) has been named to the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) FCS National Freshman Performer of the Year watch list. The initial watch list includes thirty players from the Football Championship Subdivision.
 
Bagley has rushed for 316 yards with 5.6 yards per carry. He's also fourth in the NEC with six rushing touchdowns. Bagley rushed for season highs of 89 yards and three touchdowns against Virginia-Lynchburg in September.
 
The list includes sixteen running backs, ten wide receivers, and four quarterbacks. Bagley is one of two players from the NEC on the list.
 
 The goal of College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
