Penn State is currently first in the conference with a 10-1 record.
SCOUTING THE RED FLASHSaint Francis enters the match fighting for the final playoff spot in the EIVA. Three of the four places in the tournament are clinched, with Penn State, Harvard and Princeton taking those spots. Should Saint Francis and George Mason finish the conference season with a tied record, the Red Flash would win the tiebreaker because it defeated the Patriots in four sets, while George Mason beat the Flash in five sets.

Mark Kochan (Towaco, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) finished action last week with the top attack percentage in the nation. Kochan is hitting .472 for the season with 170 kills in 286 attempts and 35 errors. Hitting percentage is calculated by taking a player's kills, subtracting errors, and dividing that number into the player's total number of attempts.
EIVA RALLIESThe EIVA recognizes the utmost importance of fully engaging in the fight against cancer. The Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital for Cancer Research Center conducts one of the largest programs of clinical research in the world. Clinical research at the center combines the efforts of laboratory and clinical investigators in various disciplines and departments to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
Members of the Red Flash volleyball team will be collecting donations for cancer research during today's match.
SCOUTING PENN STATEThe Penn State men's volleyball team (19-6, 10-1) defeated Sacred Heart 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 26-24) on the road Saturday evening. The victory marked the Nittany Lions' 14th straight-set victory of the season. Nick Goodell powered the offense with 12 kills, adding four digs and two blocks. Peter Russell followed close behind with 10 kills on .304 hitting (10-3-23), while also tallying six digs.
