Flash win seventh straight, awaits NEC seeding

LOUNDONVILLE, N.Y. (April 14, 2014) – Saint Francis U rolled to a pair of 7-0 wins this weekend, giving up only one game along the way.  The Red Flash downed Hartford and Siena to pick up its sixth and seventh consecutive wins and wrap up its strongest regular season in program history.

"This was a strong finish by the women, who have had a great regular season," said SFU coach Rob Castille, of his squad's 12-4 campaign.  "They played both matches with a lot of fire and focus. We will correct a few things this week before NECs and are looking forward to the tournament."

Seven Red Flash earned at least one win on the weekend, while five went a perfect 4-0 (singles and doubles, combined).

Saint Francis will learn its seeding for the 2014 Northeast Conference Championships – most likely #4 – on Tuesday.  The seeding would be a program best.
