BOX SCORE LORETTO, Pa. (March 20, 2015) -- The Saint Francis U men's volleyball team lost 3-0 after a courageous effort versus the No. 11 Ohio State University Buckeyes Friday evening.
The Red Flash hung with the Buckeyes the majority of the first set until a late surge by Ohio State that left SFU on their heels. OSU began their surge after a timeout after they watched the Flash cut the Ohio State lead to 14-13. Following the Buckeye timeout, OSU proceeded to go on an 11-5 run to win the set and grab a 1-0 lead.
The second set featured more spark from the Red Flash as both teams battled back-and-forth till both teams entered a 23-23 tie. Ohio State continued to flex their guns as they earned the last two points of the match off Saint Francis miscues.

Mike DeLyser (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) The Red Flash continued to battle the Buckeyes in the third set, but eventually bowed out to the No. 11 Ohio State in 25-17.
Stephen Braswell (Manchester, Pa./Northeastern) led all student-athletes in the game with 11 kills and was tied for most points in the match with 12.5. Braswell also contributed one service ace in the contest. SFU attacker
Nick Bennett (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) led all Red Flash attackers in hitting percentage attacking the ball at a .667 clip. Rounding out the SFU superlatives was
Daniel Ford (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) with 29 assists and newcomer
Jack Carlson (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield) with nine digs.
