LORETTO, Pa.- The Saint Francis volleyball team opens their 2015 home season as they host the third annual Red Flash Classic this weekend at DeGol Arena.

The Red Flash welcome in the Coppin State Eagles, Fordham Rams and the High Point Panthers for this year's classic. All the information about the tournament schedule, stats, video and the teams can be found on the

TOURNAMENT HISTORYÂ
The Red Flash is 1-4 all-time in the Red Flash Classic. They defeated Morgan State last season and dropped matches to George Mason and Loyola (Md). In the opening year of the Classic, the Red Flash lost matches to Youngstown State and Akron.

MATCH-UP HISTORYSaint Francis owns a 9-2 series edge over Coppin State but the Eagles won the last match-up, a five-set thriller in 2013. SFU and Fordham have only met once, falling in three sets back in 1992. This will be the first ever match-up between High Point and Saint Francis.

WHAT TO WATCH FORThere will be lots of talent on display this weekend, led by the Red Flash's
Hannah Kutny (Clifton Park, N.Y./Catholic Central) who is currently in the top-10 in the NEC with 2.8 kills per set. Also watch for
Jenna Veres (Independence, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) who is fourth in the NEC with nearly four digs per set.

Coppin State comes in at 1-7 on the season and is led by Chelsee Sauni who averages 8.5 assists per set and Cindy Okpegbue who is even with Kutny at 2.8 kills per set.

High Point enters the weekend at 6-6 and is led by Haley Barnes, who averages near four kills per set offensively.

Fordham comes in at 5-7 overall brings a balanced offense to Loretto. Breanna Jones and Natalie Martinez each average nearly three kills per set.

LOOKING AHEADThe tournament closes out non-conference play for the Red Flash. They welcome in Robert Morris next Saturday in the NEC opener. Match time is set for 5 p.m.Â
