LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis men's volleyball team hosts George Mason on Friday and the University of Charleston on Saturday before taking a week off for spring break. Both matches are scheduled for 7 p.m.

ABOUT THE FLASHÂ
Saint Francis downed two EIVA foes this past weekend in Princeton and NJIT. The Flash won both matches, 3-1.Â
Jeff Hogan (Northern Cambria, Pa./Northern Cambria) and
Stephen Braswell (Manchester, Pa./Northeastern) paced the offensive attack in both matches. The duo combined for 61 kills over the two matches. The Flash trails the all-time series against George Mason, 12-34. Saint Francis won the only matchup last season against Charleston, 3-0.

Mike Marshman (Glenmont, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) leads the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association with a .385 hitting percentage and ranks 10th in the NCAA in the same category. Hogan and Braswell rank second and third in the EIVA in kills. Marshman's 0.88 blocks per set ranks fifth in the conference, while
Daniel Ford (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North)'s 9.47 assists per set ranks fourth in the EIVA.

As a team, the Flash leads the EIVA in multiple categories: kills (590), total attacks (1, 345), assists (550), digs (390) and points (724).

ABOUT THE PATRIOTSÂ
George Mason comes into this weekend with a 5-8 record and 1-2 in the EIVA. The Patriots fell to Harvard in a doubleheader last weekend. Radoslav Popov led GMU with 19 kills in the first game, while Jack Wilson led the Patriots with 15 kills in the second match.

Wilson ranks fourth in the conference in kills per set with 3.77. Johnny Gomez's 2.50 digs per set ranks second in the EIVA and ranks first in the digs with 105 digs. Teammates Paco Velez and Christian Malias rank first and second in the conferÂence in service aces per set. Setter Brian Negron's 9.57 assists per game ranks him third in the conference. Mason and Saint Francis split the season series last season.

ABOUT THE GOLDEN EAGLESÂ
Sacred Heart swept Charleston last weekend. Eugene Stuart led the Golden Eagles with nine kills in the first game against the Pioneers, while Rajah Moxey finished with eight kills in the second game. Â Charleston enters Saturday's matchup with a 4-10 overall record and 0-5 in the EIVA. Byron Hurd's .317 hitting perÂcentage is third in the conference. Brian Cranston is third in the conference with 0.38 service aces per set.Â

NEXT TIME OUTÂ
The Flash returns from spring break with two non-conference matches against Limestone College (March 11) and King University (March 12). Â Both matches are set for 7 p.m.
