LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis men's volleyball team travels to No. 6 Penn State on Friday and Alderson Broaddus on Saturday. Both matches are scheduled for 7 p.m.

ABOUT THE FLASH Â
Saint Francis is on six-game winning streak heading into the Keystone State matchup against No. 6 Penn State on Friday. The Red Flash is 11-6 on the season and 4-3 in the EIVA. The Flash is coming off a pair of non-conference wins against Limestone College and King University last weekend. SFU took both matches, 3-1. The Nittany Lions handed the Flash their only home loss of the season on Jan. 29, 3-0.

Stephen Braswell (Manchester, Pa./Northeastern)'s 202 kills ranks fifth in the EIVA, while
Mike Marshman (Glenmont, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) is still holding down the No. 1 spot in hitting percentage with a .365, and ranks 15th in the NCAA in the same category. Marshman has led the EIVA in hitting percentage since the beginning of the season. Marshman averages 0.95 blocks per set, which ranks fourth in the EIVA.
Daniel Ford (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North)'s 9.86 assists per set ranks him fourth in the EIVA.

ABOUT THE NITTANY LIONSÂ
The Nittany Lions fell to No. 2 Long Beach State and No. 11 Cal State Northridge two weeks ago. PSU holds a 12-4 overall record is 7-0 in the EIVA. Chris Nugent leads the high-power offensive attack for the Nittany Lions. Nugent is second in EIVA with 4.20 kills per set, has amassed 227 kills and his .323 hitting percentage is fourth in the conference. Royce Clemens leads the PSU defense with 2.30 digs per set and has registered 131 digs in 2016. Matt Callaway's 1.19 blocks is first in the conference, while Taylor Hammond's 11.53 assists per set ranks first. The Flash looks for their first-ever win against Penn State. The Nittany Lions hold a 37-0 all-time advantage over the Red Flash

ABOUT THE BATTLERS Â
Alderson Broaddus is 7-9 overall on the season. ADU split two matches at the AVCA Showcase a couple of weeks ago. Obenda Besongnqem leads the Battlers in kills with 174 and averages 3.55 kills per set. Erik Arroyo's 142 digs is first on the squad and averages 2.73 digs per set. Myles Miller has tallied 30 total blocks on the season. This is the first-ever meeting between the Flash and the Battlers.

The Flash returns home next week for two non-conference matches against two ranked opponents in No. 14 Lewis (March 24) and No. 12 Loyola University Chicago (March 25). Both matches are scheduled for 7 p.m. The match against Loyola will be live streamed on NEC Front Row.
