LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis softball team heads to Marshall on Tuesday for a midweek doubleheader. The Red Flash will take on the Thundering Herd at Dot Hicks Field, with the first game starting at 2 p.m.

The Red Flash is 17-12 and riding an eight-game win streak after sweeping its doubleheader on Thursday against Lafayette. SFU won the first game, 7-0, and earned a 9-1, mercy-rule win in the second game.

WIN STREAKSaint Francis has won eight straight games, including five mercy-rule victories. The Red Flash has averaged 9.5 runs per game and allowed only 2.6 runs per game, including four games of one or less runs. SFU has hit 15 home runs.
