The Flash controlled the first half of play, outshooting the Tigers 10-1, in the first 35. SFU's best chance came off a shot from
Brea Seabrook (Wilkes Barre, Pa./GAR Memorial), which was blocked by a Towson player.
Elizabeth Dyer (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) saved the only Towson shot of the first half. It would remain scoreless at halftime. Â
