LORETTO, Pa. - The Saint Francis field hockey team scored two second-half goals to top the Colgate Raiders, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at DeGol Field.

Saint Francis improves to 4-1 on the season, while Colgate drops to 1-3.

The two teams played to a scoreless stalemate in the first half with the Red Flash getting the better of the opportunities and outshooting the Raiders, 14-1, and out-cornering Colgate, 12-2.

The Flash got on the board quickly in the second half. Brea Seabook found the back of the cage with a strong shot, falling down to beat goalie Maria Krull far post.

Seabrook add an insurance goal in the 54th minute off a penalty corner with assists going to
Carly Gromel (Harveys Lake, Pa./Lake-Lehman) and
Hannah Retherford (Benton, Pa./Benton) to give the Flash a 2-0 advantage.

Elizabeth Dyer (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) earned her third shutout of the year and posted one save. The Flash outshot the Raiders, 21-1, and held a 19-3 advantage in penalty corners.
