Grant Seese rejoins strength and conditioning staff

Loretto, Pa. - Grant Seese has rejoined the Saint Francis strength and conditioning staff as announced by interim head strength and conditioning coach Chad Hutsko.

"I am excited to have Grant back here at SFU as part of the strength and conditioning department," said Hutsko. "He has gained great experience since receiving his masters degree from SFU.  Having Grant back will be a huge asset to our strength and conditioning department going forward."

Seese returns to Loretto after serving as a graduate assistant from 2011-2012.

"I am very grateful for the opportunity to return to Saint Francis and help our student-athletes reach their athletic potential," said Seese. "Saint Francis is where my strength and conditioning career started and I am excited to be back in Loretto doing what I love."

Following his stint in Loretto, Seese served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He worked with Olympic athletes in fencing, figure skating, freestyle wrestling, judo, pentathlon, pole vaulting, shooting and triathlon and Paralympic athletes in alpine skiing, judo, sledge hockey and swimming.

From Colorado, Seese accepted the head strength and conditioning position at Briar Cliff University in Iowa, overseeing the strength and conditioning program for all of its varsity sports.

Most recently, Seese has served as a training manager at the Sea Island Company is Sea Island, Georgia, and a strength and conditioning coach at the College of Coastal Georgia, where he oversaw the strength and conditioning efforts for the women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, softball, and women's tennis programs.
