MONROEVILLE, Pa. – The Saint Francis Women's Tennis team fell 6-1 against Wright State on Sunday at The Club Sport and Health in Monroeville. The Red Flash earned a singles win at No. 5, but the Raiders clinched the doubles point and won five singles matches. SFU dropped to 0-3 this season, while Wright State improved to 1-3.
"I think we let a lot of chances get away today," said Head Coach
Rob Castille. "We were right there in doubles and if a couple points had gone our way, we would have won the point. In several of the singles matches, we had opportunities to take two of the matches to three sets but just could not convert. But credit goes to Wright State. They are a deep and solid team."
