Both teams exchanged points in the early going of the first set, before the Lions went on a 3-0 run to take a 12-9 lead and force SFU to call a timeout. Lindenwood would not budge out of the timeout, as they would ride their lead the rest of the way to win the set, 25-18.

Much like the first set, the second set began with both teams trading points. The Lions opened up the scoring with an 11-6 lead and force the Red Flash to call a timeout. The Flash would not find any type of momentum as Lindenwood would jump out to a big lead and eventually win the set, 25-17.

Set Three
Another close one to begin the third set as both teams would not nudge to take a lead. Eventually, Lindenwood would break away to take a 22-18 lead and force SFU to call a timeout. From the timeout, the Lions would go on a 3-0 run to win the match, 25-19.
