LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis Softball team welcomes Fairleigh Dickinson to the Red Flash Softball Field on Sunday for its regular season finale. The doubleheader will begin at 12 p.m. on NEC Front Row.

The Red Flash, led by Head Coach
Jennifer Patrick-Swift, is 34-17 overall and 14-0 in the NEC. Saint Francis has won 14 straight games, tied for the longest in the nation, including a sweep over Robert Morris on Wednesday. SFU won game one, 7-0, and game two, 14-12, in eight innings.

Fairleigh Dickinson, coached by Chris Foye, is 15-24 overall and 6-6 in the NEC heading into its doubleheader at Robert Morris on Saturday. The Knights went 2-2 last weekend in conference play, getting swept by LIU Brooklyn before winning both games against Wagner. FDU split is doubleheader at Villanova on Tuesday.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Flash leads 19-15 in the all-time series against FDU. Saint Francis has won the last four games in the series, including last year's sweep at FDU. SFU won the first game, 15-0, in five innings, and 10-1 in the second game.

NEC REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONS
The Red Flash has clinched its second straight NEC Regular Season Title with a 14-0 record. No other NEC team has less than five conference losses. The NEC Tournament will again be hosted in Loretto on May 10-12.Â
The Red Flash currently has the longest conference win streak in Division I. Saint Francis has won 33 straight NEC games dating back to the 2016 season. SFU is tied with Princeton (33, 1993-96) for the eighth-longest conference streak. SFU is one win away from tying Texas State (2000-02) for the seventh-longest streak and two away from tying Fresno State (1999-00) for the sixth-longest streak.
SFU's last NEC loss came on May 13, 2016 in the NEC Tournament vs. Robert Morris. SFU's last NEC regular season loss came on May 5, 2016 against Central Connecticut State. Of those 33 wins, 11 have come by run-rule and 10 have been shutouts. Saint Francis is averaging eight runs per game in NEC play this season and has more homers in   conference games than any other NEC team has in its entire season.

THIRD NATIONALLY IN HOMERS
With six homers on Wednesday the Red Flash now has 67 homers this season, already the second-most in a season at SFU, passing 65 homers by last year's squad. The Red Flash ranks third in Division I, behind Coastal Carolina and Eastern Kentucky (68). SFU ranks seventh in the nation in home runs per game, with 1.31.
Madison Cabell (Ivor, Va./Southampton) paces the NEC in homers (15) and RBI (49).Â
Hayley Norton (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) has 11 bombs, while
Mikayla Bower (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) has 10, Cheyenne and
Sierra McKee (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) have seven and
Kassidy Troxell (Navarre, Ohio/Perry) has six.Â

Saint Francis and Wichita State are the only teams in DI that have six players with at least six homers. SFU is one of eight teams with three players over 10 homers.

Not only does the Red Flash hit a lot of home runs, but they also like to hit them with the bases loaded. According to NFCA data, Saint Francis leads Division I with seven grand slams this season, including
Madison Cabell (Ivor, Va./Southampton)'s blast against Robert Morris. Cabell also hit one against LIU Brooklyn.Â
Hayley Norton (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) hit slams in back-to-back games against Bryant and CCSU.Â
Kassidy Troxell (Navarre, Ohio/Perry) hit SFU's first slam of the season, against Georgia State,
Sierra McKee (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) hit one at Marshall and
Cheyenne McKee (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) hit a grand slam at Penn State.

RECORDS WATCH
Several Red Flash already own SFU career records or are approaching career records.Â
Jordan Seneca (Plum, Pa./Plum) has SFU career marks for home runs (47), runs (176), walks (149) and on Wednesday became the all-time steals leader with her 54th career swipe. She's also second with 154 RBI.
Madison Cabell (Ivor, Va./Southampton) holds the SFU career mark for RBI (180) and is currently tied for the program hits record (196). She's also second in doubles (47) and walks (87) and is tied for second, with
Hayley Norton (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove), with 37 homers. Norton is also fourth in runs (118) and third in RBI (142).
Cheyenne McKee (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) is second with 148 runs, while
Sierra McKee (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) is third with 128 runs, and fifth in walks (82) and steals (36).
Abby Trahan (Kaplan, La./Kaplan) is fifth all-time with 41 wins.

HOME SWEET HOME
Saint Francis has won 17 straight home games. In six home games this season, SFU is outscoring its opponents 51-9. The 17 straight wins include seven run-rule victories and four shutouts. The Red Flash is batting .373 with 56 hits and 20 homers at home this year, averaging 8.5 runs and 9.3 hits per game.

SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS
Fairleigh Dickinson is 15-24 overall and 6-6 in conference play. Last Saturday, FDU fell in both games against LIU Brooklyn, 8-0 and 7-2, but bounced back to sweep Wagner, 9-8 and 5-2, on Sunday. FDU split its twinbill against Villanova on Tuesday, winning 8-2 in game one, but falling 9-1 in game two.

The Knights rank eighth in the NEC with 3.2 runs per game. FDU is also fourth in the league with a .253 batting average. Reanna Cervantes leads the team with a .337 average, three homers and 19 RBI.  Madison Emerson is batting .311 with 14 RBI, while Abby England has three homers and 20 RBI.

FDU ranks fifth in the conference with a 4.53 ERA and allows an opposing average of .315. In a team-high 24 appearances, Baylee Ports is 8-8 with a 3.09 ERA in 95 innings. Abby England is 4-6 with a 4.52 ERA in 14 appearances, while Erica Johnson is 3-9 with a 5.90 ERA in 20 appearances.
