Saint Francis drops 5-0 decision to #14 Saint Joseph's

Loretto, Pa – The Saint Francis Red Flash field hockey team (5-7, 2-2) was held scoreless by #14 Saint Joseph's on Sunday afternoon at DeGol Field.

How It Happened

The match was scoreless until Sara Hayes struck in the 17th minute for the Hawks. Hayes struck again justforty-five seconds before the half, extending the Hawks lead to two goals. After halftime, a Tanya Botherway goal seized momentum for the Hawks as they went on to close out the game and pick-up the conference victory.
