Pittsburgh, Pa.- The Saint Francis swimming team competed in the Western Pennsylvania Invitational on Saturday and defeated California University of Pennsylvania, 154-68  and Clarion, 152-121. The Red Flash lost to Duquesne, 195-75, Pitt, 249-37 and Carnegie Mellon, 194-92.

Individual Results

The quartet of Jessica Rupp (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin), Mackenzie Lawson (Charlottesville, Va./The Covenant School), Julia Bradford (Edinboro, Pa./Villa Maria Academy), and Erin O'Neill (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) finished fifth (1:50.06) in the 200 Medley Relay.

Camille Nguyen (Mason, Ohio/Mason) placed ninth (1:58.39) in the 200 Freestyle.

Jessica Rupp (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) earned ninth (1:01.62) in the 100 Backstroke.

Sabrina Bowman (Vandergrift, Pa./Saint Joseph's) placed fifth (1:08.35) in the 100 Backstroke.

Chloe Clemens (Chesterfield, Va./Cosby High School) finished 11th (2:21.04) in the 200 Butterfly.

Camille Nguyen (Mason, Ohio/Mason) earned sixth (25.28) in the 50 Freestyle.

Erin O'Neill (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) grabbed eighth place (55.19) in the 100 Freestyle.

Jessica Rupp (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) placed 11th (2:13.25) in the 200 Backstroke.

Mackenzie Lawson (Charlottesville, Va./The Covenant School) earned fifth (2:27.60) in the 200 Breaststroke.

Annabelle McCullough (Mercersburg, PA./James Buchanan High School) finished ninth (5:21.46) in the 500 Freestyle.

Katelyn O'Connor (Torrance, Calif./South High) grabbed 19th (1:02.37) in the 100 Butterfly.

Erin O'Neill (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) placed eighth (2:18.42) in the 200 IM.

The quartet of Erin O'Neill (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), Annabelle McCullough (Mercersburg, PA./James Buchanan High School), Karilyn Quon (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol), and Sabrina Bowman (Vandergrift, Pa./Saint Joseph's) finished fourth (1:39.93) in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
