Women's tennis announces the signing of Discini

Loretto, Pa. – Saint Francis women's tennis head coach Lisa Swope announced the signing of Marie Discini to the team for 2020-21.

""I'm so glad to have Marie join the Red Flash tennis family," Swope said. "She's a perfect addition to the group we have and look forward to working with her."

Discini was a very successful high school player at Parkersburg Catholic in West Virginia. She received AA/A All-State honors for 2017-19 and was a singles state champion all three seasons. Discini has compiled a 59-0 record as a singles player.

In doubles, Discini was a state runner-up in 2018 and a state champion in 2019. Discini intends to major in political science at SFU.
