Women's Tennis returns to action at St. Bonaventure

Loretto, Pa. – Saint Francis women's tennis (2-11, 1-0 NEC) heads north after three weeks off to take on St. Bonaventure (3-12) on Friday, March 15. First serve at the SBU Fitness Center is set for 2 p.m.

The Red Flash haven't seen match action since a Feb. 23 defeat at Lehigh. The Bonnies played recently on March 10 in a win over Daemen. SFU's most recent win came on Feb. 17 in a 5-2 victory over Mount St. Mary's in the NEC opener.

Raksha Bode (Reunion, Fla./Florida Virtual School) and Stephanie Miller (Washington, D.C./St. John's College High School) each have six wins in singles to lead the Red Flash. In doubles, the pair of Bode and Lucia Seigford (Madrid, Spain/Mirasur) are tied for the team lead with four wins with Miller and Laura Gutierrez (Bogota, Colombia/Cibercolegio UCN). Romina Cutipa (Huancayo, Peru/San Juan Bosco) was named NEC Rookie of the Month at the end of February for her outstanding play in the first half of the season.
