Men's tennis announces three additions for spring 2020

Loretto, Pa. – Saint Francis men's tennis head coach Lisa Swope announced the addition of three players to the team for Spring 2020. Jordi Garcia, Derek Roehner and Daniel Vinces have joined the squad and will begin competing this season.

"We finished our spring roster with three strong additions," Swope said. "We are looking forward to the impact these three will have on our lineup. It's going to be a great spring for men's tennis and we can't wait to get started."

Garcia comes to Loretto from Barcelona, Spain where he attended high school at IES Vallès. He played tennis for Cercle Sabadellès 1856 and was a three-time champion of the League of Catalonia. Garcia intends to major in marketing/management.

Roehner comes to Saint Francis from Dania Beach, Florida where he attended Cypress Bay High School. He played tennis at Midtown High Performance. Roehner intends to major in exercise physiology.

Vinces joins the Red Flash from Lima, Peru where he attended Universidad de Piura. He played tennis for jockey club where his team was a national champion. Vinces intends to major in finance.

SFU men's tennis opens the 2020 spring season at Morgan State on Sunday, Jan. 19.
