Loretto, Pa. – The Saint Francis men's volleyball team (2-6) is set for its final match before conference play begins, hosting first-year program St. Francis Brooklyn (2-3) on Saturday night.
Scouting St. Francis Brooklyn
In its inaugural season, the Terriers have begun 2-3, with losses to Sacred Heart, NJIT and Harvard and wins against Baruch and Elms. SFBK has won seven total sets and dropped 11.
So far, SFBK is being out-killed, 219-209 and has 12 less assists than opponents (211-199). The team has registered more attacks than opponents, though, leading 506-492. The Terriers also have a .227 attack percentage, better than the Red Flash.
The Terriers have attacked with the committee approach to begin the season. David Vorfi leads the team with 59 kills, followed by James Henneberry (46 kills), Johnny Ferraro (37 kills) and Bartlomiej Zielinski (33 kills). The leading assist-getter for SFBK is Andrew Piloto, who has 179. No other player has more than five.
On defense, James Henneberry leads the team with eight block assists and 12 total blocks. He is followed by Timothy Walsh and David Vorfi, who have seven and six total blocks, respectively.

With the Terriers being in their inaugural season, this will be the first time the teams meet.
Final Tune Up
The match against SFBK will be the last Red Flash match before conference play starts. Following this weekend, SFU will host NJIT and #12 Princeton to begin a seven-game EIVA stand.
Flipping the Script
SFU has lost its past three matches, each to strong opponents in Lincoln Memorial, Ohio State and Ball State. To get back on track, the SFU will look to begin the all-time series 1-0 against the Terriers in front of the Red Flash crowd.
EIVA Leaderboards
This week, Michael Fisher (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) was an honorable mention for the top players in the conference after registering 29 kills and a .280 attack percentage. Currently, he leads the EIVA in kills (107) and kills per set (3.96).
Additionally, middle blocker Brandon Dunz (Lake View, NY/Frontier Senior High School) is tied for fourth in the conference with 27 total blocks (2 solo, 25 assists).
