Atlanta, Ga. - Seniors Isaiah Blackmon (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte) and Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./Delsea) will represent the Northeast Conference in the 2020 Dos Equis 3x3U National Championship. Although the event has been canceled due to COVID-19, fans will still have the opportunity to decide a winner via a fan vote on the organization's twitter page.

The Tournament consists of 32 teams (from the 32 Division I conferences), separated into eight pools of four.

The Northeast Conference teams consists of Blackmon, Braxton, LIU's Raiquan Clark and Fairleigh Dickinson's Kaleb Bishop. 

Blackmon led the NEC in scoring as a senior at 21.6 ppg in league play to earn NEC Player of the Year, while Braxton was the 2018-19 NEC Player of the Year, was the only player in the league to rank in the top 10 in scoring, rebounding and assists, and is the first player in league history to finish his career with 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.

Clark held the league's overall scoring title at 19.5 ppg. Like Braxton, he surpassed 2,000 points in his career. Bishop was a Third Team All-NEC selection after averaging 13.1 ppg and 8.2 rpg as a senior.

The Northeast Conference will compete in Pool F against the Horizon League, Missouri Valley and SEC. 

On Wednesday, Mar. 25, the pool opens for fan voting. The two teams from each pool receiving the most votes will move on to the 16-team knockout stage, which will begin on Monday, March 30.
