Daytona Beach, Fla. - In a tune-up for this weekend's Lonnie Barton Invitational, the Saint Francis women's golf team battled Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday in a dual-match. 

The Knights carded a team score of 319 to SFU's 335.

Junior Allison Appleton (Millersville PA/Penn Manor) shot the low round of the day for the Red Flash with a 78 despite windy conditions at the Hills Course at LPGA International. Her six-over round featured a birdie on the par 4 13th. 

Saint Francis will compete in the Lonnie Barton Invitational from Mar. 8 - Mar. 10.
