BOX SCORE BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Saint Francis University men's tennis defeated Bloomsburg University, 6-1, on Saturday. The dual match included three doubles matches and six official singles matches.
 
The Red Flash won five-of-six singles matches, led by a dominant 6-0, 6-2 victory by Marc Fuste and 6-3, 6-0 win by Daniel Vinces. Andrew Teixeira, Christian Banti and Fabio Varella all won their respective singles matches that gave Saint Francis a 5-1 edge over Bloomsburg.
 
The doubles combinations of Sabastian Pinos/Teixeira and Varella/Fuste won their matches 6-3 and 6-2, respectively. There were three doubles matches and the team who won two-of-three earned one point, which gave the Red Flash their sixth point.
 
Saint Francis conclude the fall season at the ITA Regional Tournament starting on Thursday, Oct. 14.
