LORETTO, Pa. – Junior
Amelia Laudenbach won a pair of events and two other Red Flash swimmers recorded event wins, but the Saint Francis swimming team fell to Duquesne, 151-97, Friday at the Stokes Natatorium,
Laudenbach captured victories in the 100-yard backstroke and 500-yard freestyle, while junior
Annabelle McCullough and sophomore
Krysta Weik added event wins.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Laudenbach took first in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 58.60 and the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:13.93.
McCullough had a first-place finish in the 50 yard freestyle in a speedy time of 24.64.
Weik had SFU's other first place finish in the 200 yard breastroke in a time of 2:28.31.
SFU tallied four second place finishes on the day. The 200 Medley relay team of
Marija Dodik, McCullough,
Krysta Weik, and
Chloe Clemens hit the wall second in a time of 1:48.92.
Sophomore
Elizabeth Bason took second in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:12.60.
McCullough touched second in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 59.85.
And the 400 freestyle relay team of McCullough,
Anna Bernasconi,
Urska Medvesek, and
Chloe Clemens took second with a time of 3:39.51.
