WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – The Saint Francis men's tennis team (4-14, 1-3 NEC) fell to No. 4 Mount St. Mary's (4-5, 1-2 NEC) in the first round of the NEC Championships by a 4-0 margin on Friday.

SINGLES
Mount St. Mary's captured points at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6 singles to win the match, leaving the other singles matches unfinished.
Matt Blose fell at No. 6 singles to MSM's Huynh in straight sets – 6-4 in each set. At No. 2 singles,
Andrew Teixeira lost to Stevens by 6-1 and 6-3 margins.
Christian Banti dropped his No. 3 singles match to Sharma – 6-3, 6-2.
At No. 4 singles,
Daniel Vinces won the first set against Zuccardi by a 6-4 margin. The second set was tied at five when the match concluded. At No. 5 singles,
Jordi Garcia beat Karnibad in the first set by a 7-5 margin. The second set was unfinished.
Sebastian Pinos was set to compete at No. 1 singles.
DOUBLES
The Mount captured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Banti and Teixeira fell by a narrow 6-4 margin against MSM's Wood and Sharma at No. 1 doubles. Garcia and
Samuel Ghigiarelli lost by a 6-2 margin to Stevens and Karnibad at No. 3 doubles. Pinos and Vinces were leading Cronin and Hine by a 5-2 mark when the doubles point was decided.
